Sheffield Yoga Centre opened in September 2005 in a former chapel. which now houses 2 halls, a meeting room, a library and changing facilities. The main hall is devoted exclusively to the practice of Iyengar yoga. There is a full range of weekly classes and regular weekend events with local and visiting teachers, some from India and all of the highest calibre.
The Centre is fully equipped with yoga props - mats, blankets etc and also now has the specialist props required for teaching therapeutic classes. There is a weekly general therapeutic class as well as one specially for people with ME/CFS. New disabled facilities have recently been installed to make the building accessible to people in wheelchairs.
